July 2016 Programs

Registrations are coming in for our July programs or children and youth. We are offering our usual complement of week-long camps: two drama programs and two dance programs and an introductory music program for young children. ViSTA is the Valhalla School of Theatre Arts and is being led this year by two faculty who are thrilled to be returning to Valhalla Fine Arts after several years away. Mark Ikeda’s skills combine both theatre and creative movement; Julie Mortenson is a theatre instructor who is especially loved for her amazing face-makeup skills. Peak Dance and Experience Dance will be led this year by returning instructor Ashley Barker. Ashley taught the first two summer dance programs and is a former professional dancer and Lucerne schoolteacher. VFAs own Kelly Coubrough, a professional singer and music educator as well as mom to two young children, will lead Music Explorers this year with a program inspired the music and characters of the musical “Seussical.”
